PARAGRAPHITI is a nonprofit organization dedicated to literature, art, and culture. We publish fiction, poetry, nonfiction, and artwork. Although we have an inclination towards works with an international flavor, we'll still publish anything that really moves us.

Over the years, our journal has been a home for the works of both established and aspiring writers. Some of our artists include Mark BraziatisJohannes Göransson, Joyelle McSweeney,  the South Korean poet Kim Hyesoon, the Argentine writer Griselda Gambaro, and the Iranian poet Hafez Moosavi.

PARAGRAPHITI was first conceived in 2010 and debuted with its online presence the following year in 2011. After a period of publishing only international fiction and poetry with the aim of bringing the best of contemporary world literature to an English-speaking audience, we expanded our scope to begin including work by all writers, regardless of provenance.
